The Houses: The Lighthouse October 17, 2018 One of the great aspects of Tiny Estates is our full-time residents living in our small community. People from different backgrounds, ages, and experiences in life. Most recently, Ryan and Sarah Wennell have joined us bringing with them their 32' custom Liberation Tiny Homes built tiny house. They settled in at the far end of the property with a south facing view of the lower fishing pond. The house is beautiful and displays a variety of exterior finishes. The sign on the house has the name "Lighthouse" carved in it, representing the name they chose for their home. "The name Lighthouse to us is a reminder to clear our minds and remember what means the most to us in this world: relationships," is what they told us about what the name means to them and why they chose it. Both Ryan and Sarah have graduated from Ursinus College as well as Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and...

The Houses: The Kevin Hart House October 7, 2018 Recently, Tiny Estates made a big appearance in the Big Apple. Booking.com and Kevin Hart, famous comedian and movie star, who happens to be a PA native, teamed up for a new promotion together and Tiny Estates was contacted to participate. Kevin chose one of our homes to design and style to fit his needs for his new promotion. Abby, CEO of TE, got hard at work with the details, and helped with logistics of the home and transfer from PA to the Big Apple. With only a few short weeks to prepare, Abby made sure all the I’s were dotted and the t’s were crossed so the famous Kevin Hart could announce his partnership with Booking.com and reveal that he was going to have a new tiny house! The small house and a team of four people made the journey from Elizabethtown, PA through New Jersey, into Manhattan to Herald Square where it would find a temporary home for its big debut. The house was set up and decorated with pers...

The Houses: The Serenity September 30, 2018 We’ve got options! There are several ways in which you can be a part of tiny house movement here at TE. Yes, of course we do the overnight rentals, but there’s so much more to us than that. First option would be to buy a tiny house or build your own if you prefer and bring here to our property to live and pay a land lease. The second option is an investor agreement. With this option you can bring your own tiny house or build through us and have your house rented out for overnight stays. This is a great investment opportunity. The third option is a villa agreement. With this you can choose to stay in your tiny home, that you own here at TE and have it rented out while you are away. This is a great option for snow birds, or those looking for an occasional weekend getaway. The Serenity comes to us by way of investor agreement. This little house was designed and built by CTC Technical School in Kentucky, purcha...

The Houses: The Horizon September 23, 2018 The Horizon sits on a quiet hill top overlooking TE property. Although, you may not notice it at first when you come in as it’s tucked in within the trees, but if you look up and to the right, you really couldn’t miss this stunning little house. The Horizon was designed by Lynn, and she worked on it for many years before she decided on her final plans for Liberation Tiny Homes in Lancaster to bring her design to life. She has a custom 375 sq. ft 32’ long and 8.5’ wide design, giving her a first-floor bedroom and loft for guests as wells as ample living space. Lynn was gracious enough to share her personal photos of the interior of her home. Owning her own traditional built home for about twelve years, Lynn decided that she no longer wanted to live for her house and her belongings, but live her life for her, and downsizing was going to allow her to live that life. A local woman per say, she graduated from L...

The Houses: The Capital September 17, 2018 The Capital, it put us on the map! We introduced a new tiny home, unlike any others just a few weeks ago at Tiny Estates, the Capital. This house put us on the map so to speak, as we announced upon its much-awaited arrival, we are now the largest tiny house on wheels community in the world! You may not recognize it like most of our other tiny homes as it has a more industrial look both on the exterior and interior. The entire outside is made of black metal. This 32-foot-long flat style trailer home has a new and unique first floor bedroom with an additional loft over overhead that is accessed by a staircase in the bedroom. This saves you living space in your main living area. The upper loft is also accessed by an urban style ladder on the outside of the bedroom as well. So, you can close the bedroom doors and have privacy. The doors on both the bedroom and the bathroom have a bright silver t...

The Houses: The Dingo September 2, 2018 The Dingo is one of the most unique and personal homes we have here at Tiny Estates (TE). It comes to us as an investor unit from Philadelphia, PA where it was built by Nicholas Orso and Elizabeth-Rose Goerlitz. Both Nicholas and Elizabeth are PA natives and ventured away from the state for a while and then returned and have been residing in Philadelphia ever since. After receiving his degree from Drexel University in Civil Engineering, Nicholas traveled the country and world following his career. He lived in places such as Sierra Leone, Panama and Puerto Rico. Elizabeth moved to Florida, graduated from high school in the Orlando area and received a degree in Event Management from the University of Central Florida before she decided to return to PA. They both took great pleasure in the process of designing and building this house on their own, except for hanging the drywall, which he says, he has no patience fo...
