The Houses: The Serenity
September 30, 2018

We’ve got options! There are several ways in which you can be a part of tiny house movement here at TE. Yes, of course we do the overnight rentals, but there’s so much more to us than that.

First option would be to buy a tiny house or build your own if you prefer and bring here to our property to live and pay a land lease. The second option is an investor agreement. With this option you can bring your own tiny house or build through us and have your house rented out for overnight stays. This is a great investment opportunity. The third option is a villa agreement. With this you can choose to stay in your tiny home, that you own here at TE and have it rented out while you are away. This is a great option for snow birds, or those looking for an occasional weekend getaway.

The Serenity comes to us by way of investor agreement. This little house was designed and built by CTC Technical School in Kentucky, purchased through auction and brought here by owners, Jill and Aaron to have rented out for additional income for her and her children.
Jill currently lives in her own DIY tiny house in Maryland with her children. She chose this lifestyle as a single parent to regain financial freedom, lessen her stress and spend more time with her children. Jill and Aaron were also able to free themselves from the 9-5 grind and now support themselves just on part time incomes. Having more free time also allows Jill to heal her body from some health issues, but also enjoy tiny house festivals and continue her work with her website, searchtinyhousesvillages.com.

The Serenity name comes from Jill’s love for a TV series called Firefly, and, she says,” because it’s true to its name, tiny house living really does boost relaxation.”
This home has a raised galley style kitchen with custom made cabinetry and large walk-in rain shower feature in the bathroom. You will notice triangular shaped windows throughout and a collapsible table that serves many purposes. The main living area features a Murphy style bed and a twin loft. The Serenity is available for overnight stays and can be booked on our website.
