The Houses: The Lighthouse
October 17, 2018

One of the great aspects of Tiny Estates is our full-time residents living in our small community.  People from different backgrounds, ages, and experiences in life.  Most recently, Ryan and Sarah Wennell have joined us bringing with them their 32' custom Liberation Tiny Homes built tiny house.  They settled in at the far end of the property with a south facing view of the lower fishing pond.

The house is beautiful and displays a variety of exterior finishes.  The sign on the house has the name "Lighthouse" carved in it, representing the name they chose for their home.  "The name Lighthouse to us is a reminder to clear our minds and remember what means the most to us in this world: relationships," is what they told us about what the name means to them and why they chose it.

Both Ryan and Sarah have graduated from Ursinus College as well as Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and have backgrounds in Sports Medicine.  Sarah has a focus on nutrition, and Ryan works locally as a physician.  They will bring their knowledge and experience to help form and run a community garden for our residents.  This will be a wonderful and healthy addition to the property and we look forward to their future contributions.

On the inside of the Lighthouse you will find full size kitchen appliances, dual lofts, one being an office, custom tile in the bathroom as well as a full-size claw foot tub. And as of a few days ago you will now find a small timid Australian Shepard puppy named "Latch", all the way from Utah, romping about the house.

If you aren't sure about sharing a small space with your significant other, Ryan and Sarah have this to say, "So many people think tiny home living would drive them and their significant other away from each other but actually it has brought us closer together as a couple".
