The Houses:  The Escape

Houses number 32 and 33 rolled in not that long ago.  Both coming from the tiny home builder, Liberation Tiny Homes. We have several houses onsite already from Liberation and but these two are quite unique.

The Escape is black and gray on the exterior and is the modern version of the Rumspringa.  Similar to the farmhouse originally, but the roof is a shed style roof more like the roof a modern.

The house has lovely wood accent pieces throughout including a custom made headboard mounted on the wall in the loft and a wood feature on the end of the loft that extends onto the ceiling. Some have already said that the wood pieces on the loft and ceiling resemble bars in a jail cell and the dark colors of gray and black don't necessarily jive with the name the Escape, but it seems fitting for this new tiny.

The cupboards are black and have gold knobs and handles that really stand out. We see an updated refrigerator with a freezer on the bottom, and a small two burner propane cooktop.  The countertops don't carry over from the Rumspringa, in fact, they resemble the unfinished concrete countertops from the early model farmhouse like the K & H.  Bringing another note of modern into the style, we find the popular white subway tile installed vertically, which feels a bit urban too.

Like most of the other farmhouses and moderns, this house comes in at the typical 24' and 274 sq ft. This tiny house will accommodate up to four people in its higher and somewhat more secluded location that overlooks a few other homes and the smaller pond on the property, it's a quiet escape.

The house went live this week with a T-shirt giveaway if you properly guessed the name of the new tiny on one our social media pages. It's already been booked and stayed in a few times since right after going up online. We've had great feedback and are sure this will be booked out regularly.

If you want to tour Liberation Tiny Homes, you can call them to set up an appointment. If you'd like to tour our tiny homes at TE, give us a call and we will get you scheduled with an appointment also.  Most folks try to plan a visit and do a tour at both locations on the same day, and if you're looking for a place to stay afterward, we might just have a house for you. It's a perfect tiny getaway.

Next week, we will bring you the other new Liberation arrival, The Skyline. Settled in right next to the Escape, this house sleeps six and will wow you with a new design, live wood edging, and double queen lofts.
