Investing in Tiny

Tiny Estates has really grown over the past 8 months.  We went from opening in the beginning of April with just a small handful of homes, to now, currently having 28 homes on site.  It has been an amazing start for us.  As many of you know, the property here at TE will be under going development for the next several years, so there are so many more great things to come, that will truly make this a wonderful resort experience for everyone.

We anticipate the building of a pool in the early spring as well as a few more buildings on the property for guests to enjoy, and to make their experience here complete. We will just keep some of those good details for later announcements, so stay tuned!



Our location also makes it great place for families and travelers of all types.  We’ve said it many times, we are centrally located to Lancaster, Hershey and Harrisburg, and so that puts us right in the middle of so many great South-Central Pennsylvania attractions and venues.  Even though, we are just outside of the town limits and just inside of a country setting, and it’s still accessible for Uber and Lyft to pick up our many guests who like to use this service.

One reason, we’ve seen such growth in our tiny house numbers is also investor units.  We have a growing amount of tiny homes that come to us for one reason or another.  Some people have built tiny houses and then were informed after they built, that they weren’t allowed to have an additional unit on their property, or it wasn’t legal in their area.   People have also built them to enjoy personally, and for whatever reason, haven’t used them like they previously thought they would.  So rather than having their tiny treasure sit empty and unused, we have had some come to us and are used for the purpose of investing, and it’s trending here at TE.  So far, this is shown to be a great investment with good returns.  We are hoping to see more great new unique investor homes coming in the next year.

The Houses:   The Skyline The Skyline is one of the newest additions to our already great lineup of tiny homes.   But if you are looking for something a little different, this house has some great unique features. 274sq ft doesn’t seem like a lot of space, but you will be surprised at how well this space has been designed.   It sleeps up to 6 people with two queen lofts and a fold out sofa. Both loft spaces are unique with two different and unique sets of steps to access the lofts. The Houses: The Low Country September 9, 2018  Many of you maybe already familiar with the Low Country. It made a quite an impression when it arrived here at Tiny Estates, and for good reason. This tiny house has big personality and lots of rustic style. Built on a 39 ½’ gooseneck trailer, this low country rustic timber home has plenty of space with 379sq ft of space to call home. When you open the custom wood door and walk in, you get a beautiful aroma of fresh cut lumber. Everyone walks in and takes in a big whiff, breathe it in, it’s awfully nice. UPDATE: Brandi and Jon's Tiny Home Journey We first introduced you to Brandi and Jon in December 2018.  They are on their journey to tiny house ownership, and it’s been about two months and we want to give you an update on where they are in their process. When we last blogged about Brandi and Jon, they were scheduled to have a settlement on their 2000sq ft home on January 25th.  Just prior to this, they were informed that the buyer’s buyer had backed out of their offer on their home they were selling, and the buyers could no longer move forward with settlement on Brandi and Jon’s home.  This was a devastating blow to them both, as they all just took huge steps in this exciting yet scary process.  The family already paired down their large home, giving away almost all of their big furniture and many important items to family and friends, so now what?
