The Houses: The Kevin Hart House

Recently, Tiny Estates made a big appearance in the Big Apple. Booking.com and Kevin Hart, famous comedian and movie star, who happens to be a PA native, teamed up for a new promotion together and Tiny Estates was contacted to participate. Kevin chose one of our homes to design and style to fit his needs for his new promotion.  Abby, CEO of TE, got hard at work with the details, and helped with logistics of the home and transfer from PA to the Big Apple. With only a few short weeks to prepare, Abby made sure all the I’s were dotted and the t’s were crossed so the famous Kevin Hart could announce his partnership with Booking.com and reveal that he was going to have a new tiny house!

The small house and a team of four people made the journey from Elizabethtown, PA through New Jersey, into Manhattan to Herald Square where it would find a temporary home for its big debut. The house was set up and decorated with personal affects, pictures, DVD’s and other items belonging to Kevin that would make his new tiny house feel like his home.

The big reveal came last Thursday September 27th when Kevin arrived with security and press surrounding him, made his way through the fenced in courtyard, large suitcases at his sides, checked for any mail in his mailbox and into the new “Kevin Hart House”.  Kevin made himself at home, showing off his house and his style, he gave tours and took pictures with the media, before he went on stage for the Irresponsible tour at Madison Square Garden later that evening. 
It was a whirlwind of fun and excitement for everyone involved. We welcomed the new Kevin Hart house back at TE early Saturday morning after the big event. The house will now feature Kevin’s name and is still decorated in his décor, as was seen on the TV promotions. The Houses: The Low Country September 9, 2018  Many of you maybe already familiar with the Low Country. It made a quite an impression when it arrived here at Tiny Estates, and for good reason. This tiny house has big personality and lots of rustic style. Built on a 39 ½’ gooseneck trailer, this low country rustic timber home has plenty of space with 379sq ft of space to call home. When you open the custom wood door and walk in, you get a beautiful aroma of fresh cut lumber. Everyone walks in and takes in a big whiff, breathe it in, it’s awfully nice. You’ll be amazed at the custom-built wood cabinetry with built wine glass holder, granite counter tops and full-size appliances. UPDATE: Brandi and Jon's Tiny Home Journey We first introduced you to Brandi and Jon in December 2018.  They are on their journey to tiny house ownership, and it’s been about two months and we want to give you an update on where they are in their process. When we last blogged about Brandi and Jon, they were scheduled to have a settlement on their 2000sq ft home on January 25th.  Just prior to this, they were informed that the buyer’s buyer had backed out of their offer on their home they were selling, and the buyers could no longer move forward with settlement on Brandi and Jon’s home.  This was a devastating blow to them both, as they all just took huge steps in this exciting yet scary process.  The family already paired down their large home, giving away almost all of their big furniture and many important items to family and friends, so now what?
